Space engineers thrusters not working It's hydrogen engines are now non-functional after I have unconnected it from my space base, only showing the lit animation while thrust should be applied. the only one that flies is one of them that has hydrogen thrusters too. We thought the problem might have been the connector having a magnetic field, or not disconnecting properly, but powering the connector off or straight up removing it doesn't work, the ship just drops straight down. The ion engines are still working fine. Load a new Creative EMPTY world (the Empty one no Mods for a quick load/test), paste your Blueprint from the Bp screen F10. If i use a Timer Block to turn "ON" a thruster (acceleration is overridden to the maximum) the thruster will turn "ON" in the Control Menu but the thruster won't have any visual effects nor accelerate (it isn't working). I have batteries and reactors on the ship and says i have 3 days worth of power and i get no power overload. also you might for eg disable all other thrusters (turn them off) and only leave the ones facing UP online -> then get into the cockpit and press space -> and watch power usage indicator -> if it jumps it means the thrusters are working okay but the ship is Apr 20, 2016 · When trying to access the remote control block on my large ship, the "control thrusters" and all of that other stuff is grayed out. Definitely turned on, no subgrids, thrusters are strong enough to manually move but ships are just falling out of the sky or not even attempting to dampen in some instances. . I think the H thrusters may be connected to the conveyer, since the conveyor turns yellow (you can see one piece on the top right of the first screenshot). Already tried grinding down most of the components and re-attaching, including the connectors, thrusters and the small conveyors supplying them. I was designing a ship earlier in creative and after removing one of the thrusters suddenly every thruster on the ship shut off and it dropped a few meters to the ground. Only thrusters which are attached to the main grid will fire. 2nd-Try turning off or removing/deconstructing all sources of power and rebuilding/ replacing them. When moving forward and dampeners are On, however, it does not work to slow me down like my other backward thrusters do. When I hit "S" to go in reverse, it fires and provides thrust; as it should. They still said they were on in the block menu, but they didn't have the visual thruster "glow" or sound, and I couldn't make the ship move at all. Dynamic control is virtually impossible, and they almost introduce realistic centres of thrust, so balancing them is critical, but you can use them for gross movement, ie 4 large ion thrusters which are only used to get up to speed and then set 180° to prepare for braking, and leaning on a standard set of manoeuvring thrusters for docking. I've deconstructed some thusters and rebuild them and they also don't want to work (the little animation with atmospheric thrusters is pretty straightforward).
